Step by Step method

The Yogurt:

  1. Add yogurt, cornstarch, water, and salt into the blender and blend until well mixed. 
  2. Pour the mixture into a large pan over a high heat.
  3. Continuously stir until it boils and becomes thicker. set aside.

The lamb and pumpkin:

  1. Saute the onion with ghee.
  2. Add the lamb cubes and stir until tender.
  3. Add the chopped garlic and stir for 2 minutes.
  4. Add the pumpkin cubes and stir for 5 minutes.
  5. Pour in 1/2 cup water, cover, and cook for 15 minutes until tender.
  6. check if the pumpkin is cooked, pour in the yogurt.
  7. taste to adjust the salt .
  8. Add the minced garlic and cook for another 5 minutes. 
  9. Garnish with dried mint or black pepper.
  10. Enjoy it hot with rice pilaf or bulgur pilaf.
