Chicken Makhani is a full flavored dish that complements the chicken well. It can be made as mild or spicy as you wish by adjusting the cayenne. Usually this dish is served with basmati rice or naan bread, according to your desire.
1. Heat the oil in a large saucepan, cook onions for 5-6 minutes or until golden brown. Add all the spices and stir for 1 minute.
2. Add chicken pieces and cook for 5-6 minutes. Add tomato puree, water and chicken stock cubes. Cover and cook on low heat for 30-35 minutes, or until the chicken is well done.
3. Add the cream and mix thoroughly. Cook for 5-6 minutes then stir in fresh coriander and serve.
