Fattoush is a Levantine bread salad made from toasted or fried pieces of pita bread combined with mixed greens and other vegetables, such as radishes and tomatoes. Fattoush includes vegetables and herbs according to season and taste. The vegetables are cut into relatively large pieces compared to tabbouleh which requires ingredients to be finely chopped. Step by Step method


1. In a deep bowl, mix all the vegetables.

2. To make the dressing, in a small bowl, mix lemon juice, salt, thyme, olive oil, mint, and sumac.

3. Pour the dressing over the vegetables, and mix them very well together.

4. Sprinkle the pita bread pieces on top and serve immediately.
