In the Middle East, kebabs are not always prepared on a skewer and do not always consist of cubed meat and veggies. Check out this oriental tasty blend beef and lamb kebab which is really unique and quite tender. You can serve this dish over white, saffron, or basmati rice, or with pita bread and olives.
1. In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients, mixing with hands or wooden spoon. Refrigerate up to two hours, until ready to cook.
2. Take a handful of meat and roll into a tennis ball sized portion. Place on long, flat skewer and form into cigar shape, around the skewer. It will look like a sausage on the skewer.
3. Place on heated grill and cook for about 4-6 minutes on each side, or until done.
