Kishk, is a famous dish that is prepared differently according to each country. In Egypt there are 3 different preparing ways of it. depending on the region you are coming from. This is the Cairo edition.

Recipe Method: 
  1. Mix flour,milk and yogurt in a bowl. set aside for 2 hours.
  2. Boil the broth, adjust salt,pepper and cinnamon.
  3. Add the flour mixture, whisk vigorously until it thickens and forms something like pudding.
  4. In a skillet over high heat, brown onion with vegetable oil.
  5. Pour the mixture in a plate and let it cool, garnish with the brown onions.
Recipe Tips: 
Kishk should be eaten cold -some people prefer to cool it in the fridge before serving – with pita bread.
You can replace broth with chicken bouillon.
