This recipe is one of the popular side dishes in the Arab kitchen, it’s very ideal to serve it with pita bread, rocket leaves, and Motzerala cheese to enhance the taste.
1. In a deep bowl, put all the ingredients (grated carrots, onion, eggs, bread crumbs, salt, and black pepper). Mix them very well.
2. Form the mixture into equal-sized balls. Fry the balls in the hot vegetable oil, on high heat until they become golden brown.
3. Place the balls on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
4. Serve koftet al jazar hot with plain yogurt, rocket leaves, and pita bread.
