Nothing like a nice and tasty treat to reward yourself after along, busy day! Onionin invites you to try this Asian version of orange and ginger cake recipe that you will absolutely love it.
1. Combine butter, eggs, sweetened condensed milk, flour, baking powder, vanilla powder, orange zest and grated ginger in a bowl of an electric mixer.
2. Beat on low speed until ingredients are combined, then beat on medium speed for 4-5 minutes or until mixture is smooth and changes color.
3. Turn the mixture into a greased loaf tin 30cm x 11 cm, if desired, and bake in 170°C preheated oven for 1 hour or until golden brown.
4. Serve with a nice cup of English tea, or low fat milk.
