Rice Kufta is a tender, juicy meat with rice fingers cooked with potato in a garlic tomato sauce.

Step by Step method

Meat fingers:

  1. Wash rice, drain well, and grind.
  2. Finely chop Onion, and Parsley. Add into rice and mix well.
  3. Add meat , cumin, salt and pepper.
  4. Mix by hand and then finely mince by meat grinder.
  5. Grease your hands with oil or water and roll the meat fingers.
  6. Deep fry the fingers. Drain.

The sauce:

  1. Saute garlic with clarified butter until golden.
  2. Add tomato juice and bring to a boil.

Cooking:

  1. Add meat fingerss and potatoes into the sauce.
  2. simmer for 30 to 40 minutes until potato is tender and the sauce is thick. Watch every while and add some water if needed.
