Shishbarak is a pasta or jiaozi dish made in the Levant cuisine that has been described as a kind of local variation on ravioli. 1. Heat vegetable oil in a medium sauce pan and fry onions till translucent, add tomatoes, chopped garlic, white pepper and half of fresh thyme leaves, chicken stock, water and bring to a boil then simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.
