Step by Step method


1. Preheat the oven to 175 c.

2. Peel and halve  the vegetables crosswise.

3. Lay them flat on the baking pan and lightly coat them with olive oil.

4. Apply salt and pepper.

5. Bake the vegetables for about 45 minutes or until crisp, and serve.

Tips & variations

  • To make baked goods lighter and sneak in some extra nutrition, you can swap half the butter or oil (sometimes even all of it!) with an equal amount of unsweetened applesauce.
